Sports Massage: for injury prevention and recovery
Pre-natal: semester specific treatment plans with different pillowing options tailored to your comfort and safety.
Myofascial Release: no oil style, that is slow, sustained and stretching. Excellent technique to work through different postural patterns caused from workplace positioning, injury recovery or repetitive movements from sport or work.
TMJ (Jaw) Massage: specific work to head, jaw and neck. Great for those who clench, grind, injury to the jaw or have had prolonged dentistry work. You will expect massage done intra-orally (with gloves on, of course!) and externally to address all the soft tissue involved.
Post Surgical/Injury: Can start 6-8 weeks after event, or when cleared by your Dr. or Physio. This is specific treatment to support your recovery. I work with your Dr. and Physio to help improve joint range of motion, scar tissue management, pain relief and working any muscles that have been compensating to get you around. The primary goal is to help you get back to doing your activities of daily living with ease.
Whiplash and Concussion Treatment: Working with your Dr. and Physio once you have been cleared for treatment, I work slow and specifically on the muscles on your neck, shoulders, head and back. We will work together to help with pain, range of motion and relaxing your nervous system.
Scar Tissue Massage: a myofascial approach to any type of scar, including c-section scars. This treatment aims to soften the scar tissue and help to ease any “pulling” sensations you may be experiencing.
Swedish Massage: this is the foundation of my massage training. Involves oil, and long gliding techniques.

Yes, of course! I understand that disrobing for a massage can be a barrier to treatment for some people. Whether it’s your feelings about body hair, comfort levels, or religious/culture beliefs. I am happy to provide a treatment through athletic or loose fitting clothing. You will expect more kneading, compressions, and stretching techniques.
-
Yes! I have extensive training in myofascial release that involves no oils or lotions.
-
Yes! Any age is fine. I suggest booking them in for a 30-45 minute treatment to start. For the first few treatments I suggest that the parent stays in the treatment room with us to ensure the child is comfortable with receiving treatment.

Yes! Of course! I have a couple extra chairs and wifi, so they can hang out and watch a show while you receive treatment. There is also space for a baby carrier to sit on the floor. I never want childcare to be a barrier for you to receive treatment.

I like to ask a lot of questions and really get a good sense of what is bringing you in for a massage and how my treatment style may help you.
I have extensive training in myofascial release. This means my treatment is often very slow, methodical, and with no oil. You will expect techniques like stretching, pulling, bowing, gliding of your soft tissue and moving your joints around to do different techniques. I will usually always finish an area with Swedish massage techniques that include oil and gliding strokes.
Whether it’s recovering from an injury or surgery, chronic pain, stress management, or general body maintenance. We will work together to come up with an effective treatment plan to meet your therapeutic goals.

Yes! I need written consent from you to do so first. Then whoever you would like me to connect with about your treatment plan, I would be happy to do so.

Yes! I will never be offended if you request this. There will be 10 minutes or so at the start of treatment where we will talk for me to get a sense of what is going on in your body and what type of treatment you need. Then we can be silent. I may still check in about pressure or comfort levels during your treatment. Music can always be changed or turned off.
